Using laundry outsourcing appears to be a convenient, cost-effective solution for businesses. However, quite often, the reality can be considerably different and can end up being very pricey. Using a professional In-House Laundry System can save you from ongoing high costs and put quality control in your hands.

The IRLON system works as follows:

Number 1

EVALUATE

Our initial briefing with you is designed to learn about your business. We will ask you to provide us with information that will allow us to accurately calculate your current spend on outsourcing your linen. We will fully outline the benefits of using your own in-house laundry system.

NUMBER 2

PLAN

Armed with the information gathered from your business, we will plan in detail the requirements for your premises to properly operate a laundry system. This will include precisely how many, and what type of machines you will require to handle the volume of linen that you use, as well as the new linen stock that you will need.  We also allow for growth in your business operations of course!

NUMBER 3

CALCULATE SAVINGS

Once we have decided upon the setup of our proposed laundry for you, we set about calculating in detail how much the system will cost and compare it to your current spends to show how much of a saving you will immediately make to your business. We take into consideration all elements including the cost of energy and detergent used to run the recommended machines, the cost of staffing the operation, the cost of the new linen and any other relevant costs to your particular setup. We provide this detailed breakdown to you in a report, which allows you to evaluate our proposal with your Financial Controller. You may find that, through staff rotation, no additional staffing is required. In our experience, some hotels have adopted this strategy to maintain staffing costs.

NUMBER 4

FINANCE

When it comes to paying the bill, we make it as simple as possible. Because our system works on a Hire Purchase basis, your initial outlay is minimal in the form of monthly payments over an agreed term, usually 5 years, after which time your business will wholly own the machines and linen supply. You may be able to take advantage of possible tax deductions where:

a) you may be able to claim on Capital Allowance costs
b) interest may be offset against taxable profits

NUMBER 5

INSTALLATION

Once the agreement is in place, our experienced laundry partners, Irish Laundry Equipment, will conduct a survey of your premises to find the most suitable position for the installation of the recommended equipment for you. Your new linen stock will also be delivered on the same day that your machines are installed.

NUMBER 6

TRAINING

To make sure that you get off to the best start with your new In-House Laundry system, we will provide all of the relevant training to your team.

NUMBER 7

ONGOING SUPPORT

We pride ourselves in becoming part of your business solution, and as such offer an extensive support service…..365 days a year, for as long as you need us. We also provide warranties suitable to your setup.
